The characteristics
The OpenGate 2 24V automation supports all types of gates, made of aluminum, iron, PVC or wood as long as the maximum weight does not exceed 500 kg, or 250 kg per leaf. The maximum authorized length is 5 meters, 2.5 meters per leaf. Your gate can be solid, openwork or semi-openwork.
The technology used, the articulated arms, is ideal for not rushing the gate and guaranteeing its longevity. In fact, opening with automated arms is identical to manual opening carried out by a person.
In the event of a power outage, to avoid getting stuck at home or outside, you can manually unlock the motor.
In terms of aesthetics, the motors and arms are modern and discreet. They integrate with any portal.
The opening
The SCS Sentinel OpenGate 2 motorization has a rapid opening in 15 seconds. The opening angle is 120°.
It is possible to partially open the gate, known as pedestrian opening, in order to pass by bicycle, motorbike or on foot. This avoids having to open the gate completely.
Thanks to the photocells, closing is automatic. After the vehicle passes, the gate closes automatically. You don’t have to worry about it.
There is also stopping on obstacles, essential if you have children or pets. In the event of encountering an obstacle, the movement of the gate is immediately stopped.
To maximize the durability of the gate and the motor, the OpenGate 2 is equipped with end-of-stroke decelerations and stroke learning.
Installation
Installation is a breeze. SCS Sentinel makes the job easier by providing an installation template to guide you in attaching the arms. In addition, color codes on the terminal blocks of the electronic card allow easy connection of accessories.
